The Vienna Stock Exchange records equity trading volumes of EUR 3.68 billion in August 2020. The most actively traded Austrian stocks were Erste Group Bank AG with EUR 505 million, ahead of OMV AG with EUR 482 million and voestalpine AG with EUR 329 million. Year-to-date the equity turnover amounts to EUR 47.30 billion. This is a gain of 13.3% over the same period last year (Jan-Aug 2019: EUR 41.74 billion).
