The Vienna Stock Exchange records equity trading volumes of EUR 5.90 billion in February 2021. Year-to-date the trading members of the Vienna Stock Exchange generated a turnover of EUR 12.23 billion. This is a rise of 13.5 % compared to the same period last year (Jan-Feb 2020: EUR 10.77 billion). A monthly comparison with February 2020, which was already impacted by the start of the Corona crisis, shows a minus of 4% (Feb 2020: EUR 6.15 billion).
OMV AG with EUR 995 million, Erste Group Bank AG with EUR 827 million and Verbund AG with EUR 643 million top the turnover ranking of Austrian shares.
