As of today, the liquidity band for shares of Immofinanz AG, Sanochemia Pharmazeutika AG, European Lithium Limited and many other shares in the global market will be changed. The liquidity band (tick size) indicates the smallest possible price change of an instrument. Uniform limit steps for stock exchange trading have been introduced with MIFID II throughout Europe.
For Immofinanz, for example, the liquidity band 3 now applies. This means that for orders with a limit between EUR 20 and EUR 50, price steps of EUR 0.05 instead of EUR 0.005 will be accepted by the system in future. All orders with limits that do not correspond to the new price levels are deleted by the system in the start phase of trading on 30 September 2019.
